This class will dive into strategies for understanding and fostering personal and Dynamic accountability to help us take our Dynamics to the next level. Accountability can help both sides of the slash manage when things go sideways, deepen or reestablish trust, and strengthen the interdependence within a Dynamic.
When we mistake accountability for blame, it can lead us away from where we want to go, and lead to a destructive and damaging blame cycle. We will review what personal and Dynamic accountability is, how to distinguish blame from accountability, review side of the slash specific accountability challenges, review how authority imbalance can conflict with accountability, and provide practical approaches to implementing a constructive accountability framework for ourselves and our person in the Dynamic.
